It was not my fault, I did not deserve this
Why do we feel the way we feel? Why do we act the way we act? Why the constant struggle? The never-ending inner dialogue. And above all, what makes us healthy and what keeps us sick? Why me? Why now?
Understanding how our subconscious mind and consciousness connect with our physical body, our mental states, and our spiritual side is the key to answering those questions.
"He who grasps the truth of the Mental Nature of the Universe is well advanced on The Path to Mastery."
~ Three Initiates, The Kybalion: A Study of the Hermetic Philosophy of Ancient Egypt and Greece
The subconscious mind controls over 95% of what we do, how we feel, think and act, including our perception of reality. Say it differently, 95% of what we think, feel, how we act and behave is controlled by a part of us that we are not aware of, at least most of the time. The subconscious mind is the invisible force that really runs the show. Its role is to keep us safe, but not necessarily happy. We may not understand its logic, but there is a reason behind the way we experience reality. Developing a relationship, understanding, and trust with your subconscious is the key to healing. As a practitioner in the Emotion, Body and Belief Code, the modalities developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson, my goal is to assist with building such a relationship and concluding the healing process as quickly as possible.
Chronic issues, inflammation, low self-esteem, childhood trauma, guilt and resentment towards the self are all backed by negative energies trapped in the body. The past is not really in the past. It is as if we cut each frame of our lifetime movie and stack them together. What happened at age 5 still resonates at 55. The energetic signature affects the now, the constantly unfolding present moment.
"Negativity is the enemy of creativity."
~ David Lynch
By design, we focus on detecting threats and danger. It is a survival mechanism. That is why we so easily concentrate on the negative—thoughts, feelings, and the programs we subconsciously run. But deep down, it is not who we are. Consciously, we make good decisions, good choices—at least, that's what we believe—but, as it often turns out, they are based on subconscious beliefs that contradict our expectations, reinforcing the negative programming. As a result, we are constantly in survival mode - the sympathetic nervous system dominance - fight, flight or freeze. It shifts the natural baseline - the original homeostasis is out of balance. Stress creates more stress.
If we want to heal, we need to get out of survival mode. Switch to parasympathetic dominance—rest, digest, and repair—but we often encounter resistance. Again, the role of the subconscious is to keep us safe, not happy. Change requires energy, and although we consciously want that change, there is a subconscious resistance. "Do not disturb the balance," we hear, even if it is far from being ideal. That is why we need to build trust with the subconscious mind. The Emotion, Body and Belief Code helps to facilitate exactly that. During sessions, we have "conversations" with the subconscious mind - we ask questions, and we get answers. Gradually releasing negative energy, we let go of the tension and, above all, consciously, we start to understand what happened in the past. Unfortunately, the subconscious mind has no way to distinguish between true and false. If something finds its way to the subconscious database, or library, it is considered the truth.
"An assumption, though false, if persisted in, will harden into fact."
~ Neville Goddard
One of the reasons why childhood trauma could create such disturbances in our lives is that a child's ability to understand the context, to reason and explain an event is limited. In most cases, the only explanation available is "it is my fault." We create all those false conclusions. When we decide, "Oh, I must deserve it, this is because of me," we shift our identity, our belief about who we are. In exchange for a protective mechanism (we wanted to explain, downplay the threat, and feel relief), we traded this temporary relief for identity changes that may persist for years and develop into belief systems. Those systems grow, evolve, dominate the space, and before we know it, we are at the mercy of something we created on our own accord.

Whether true or false, a belief is a subjective view held by the subconscious mind. It acts as a lens through which we perceive and experience life. Beliefs are our truths, either self-created or influenced by others. The Belief Code® uses mind mapping to allow the subconscious to reveal the belief that needs attention. It is structured into four main layers of a faulty belief system, symbolized by a tree analogy: Faulty Core Identity (the soil), Faulty Core Beliefs (the roots), Limiting Beliefs (the trunk), and Negative Programs (the branches and leaves). This process is highly efficient in identifying and releasing unwanted beliefs. Ultimately, belief and intention are the core of Dr. Nelson's healing method: the belief and intention that healing is possible, and that once the underlying cause is addressed, the body can heal itself.
